FG reopens all domestic airports
The Federal Government has announced the reopening of all domestic airports for flight operations.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika made the announcement at the Presidential Taskforce (PTF) on COVID-19 briefing on Monday.
The also stated that all the airports will fully observe the COVID-19 protocols even as he appealed to the air travellers to cooperate with front line officers at the various airports.
The Presidential Taskforce, (PTF) had earlier in August lifted ban on Murtala Mohammed Airport, (MMA), Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport. (NAIA) Abuja for domestic operatipn.
The two international airports were further opened for international flights on September 5, 2020.
All the airports in the country were closed to both local and international flights operations in March, 2020 to curtail the spread of corona virus pandemic.
