Reps announces dates for rescheduled public hearing on aviation Bills

The House of Representatives committee on Aviation has announced the Re-scheduled date Public Hearing on Six Aviation Bills to hold from Tuesday November 17 to Thursday November 19 2020.
This followed an earlier postponement of the Hearing due to the #EndSARS protest.
The Six Bills include:
A Bill for an Act to repeal the Nigerian Meteorological Agency Establishment Act2003.
A Bill for an Act to Repeal the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology Act of 2010.
A Bill for an Act to repeal the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency Act 2010 and a Bill for an Act to repeal the Civil Aviation Act 2006 and to re-enact the civil Aviation Act for the Regulation of Civil Aviation in Nigeria.

Others are:
The Bill for an Act to provide for the Establishment of the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau for the Regulation, Prevention and providing effective Administration for safety investigation in Nigeria and a Bill for an Act to repeal the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Act 2010.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation,Mr.Nnolim Nnaji enjoined all stakeholders to endeavour to submit memoranda that would assist the Legislature in the àmendment process.
