Andy Uba debunks rift with Ngige
The frontline Aspirant in the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State has declared that there was no rift between him and the Labour Minister, Senator Chris Ngige.
In a press state by his media team, the All Progressives’ Congress, (APC) aspirant debunked a recent media report alleging that he was having a rift with Ngige.
The statement described as ridiculous the write up noting that it was a hatchet job by opponents of the distinguished Senator who were already being intimidated by his overwhelming influence in the race.
“ As ridiculous as this hatchet write – up is, the Andy Uba media team, with the authorization of the Distinguished Senator, refute the allegation of any kind of rift between Sen. Andy Uba and the Honourable Minister for Labour and Productivity, Sen. (Dr.) Chris Ngige and describe such allegations as the handiwork of his detractors.
“We are not ignorant of the desperation of many of the aspirants, who are already aware of their little or no chances in the forthcoming primary election and have instead hired goons to heat the system, with the view of truncating the primary election.
“We ask the general public to discountenance these fabricated white lies designed to further the hidden agenda of some aspirants, who are so intimidated by Sen. Andy Uba’s ever rising profile. Sen. Chris Ngige is a gentleman, who wants the best for APC and Sen.
“Andy Uba does not doubt the Honourable Minister’s commitment to internal democracy within the party.
“We deplore the antics of some aspirants, who are ready to sacrifice the best chance APC ever had in Anambra governorship election, on the altar of their misguided and vaulting ambitions rather than support the person, who has everything it takes to win the Anambra governorship election and put an end to the impunity of mediocrity.
Meanwhile a group by name, Anambra Youths has declared its total support for the frontline aspirant in the forthcoming Governorship election in Anambra State, Senator Andy Uba.
They said they were switching their allegiance from Comrade Tony Nwoye who they had followed in the past without reward to the distinguished Senator.
“Our Mumu Don Do. He cannot manipulate the intelligence of the youths of Anambra State any more. For years, we have been fighting Tony Nwoye’s battle, believing that, in the spirit of comradeship, we would be partners with him but he would always abandoned us.”
